4 weeks

Baylee is growing! The last 4 weeks flew by. Not only did Baylee grow in the last month, but she road tractor with dad while he planted corn, checked the irrigation well, and visited with friends and family. I also got to celebrate my first mothers day!

It's a Girl!

Baylee Kay Long

April 14, 2014
12:07 pm
7 lbs 6.5 oz
19.5 inches long

It's a girl the doctor said after 11 hours of labor. Matt and I were both surprised as we had decided it was a boy months a go. We couldn't be happier though with our little Easter Blessing! We have had several visitors and most have brought us meals which have been very helpful. Not having to cook has allowed us to catch a few zzz's! Baylee is more than what Matt and I had ever dreamed and we look forward to watching her grow in to a beautiful lady.

Baby Shower

Hostesses: Andi Bauck, Tara Biermann, Nikki Bjurstrom, Laura Berning

On February 16 four wonderful ladies put on a Baby Shower for Baby Long and I. Thanks ladies, you gals are awesome! The sugar cookies were adorable, so cute I almost didn't want to eat one! Thanks to everyone that attended, especially my mom for traveling across the state to be there. All of the gifts I received have helped Matt and I prepare for our new addition....just 4 more weeks!

Check out the crib....I think we're ready!

Feels like Summer....Looks like Fall

On January 17 we sent Ashen to hunting training school. She will be gone for 6-8 weeks and will be missed. While she's learning how to point birds, we took advantage of the beautiful weather and shot trap. We would hate not being able to hit the birds after all of her hard work at school!

It was a great day to get out of the house. I need a little more practice, roughly shooting 50%, while Matt hardly misses! We hope this will be a fun outing in the future as we teach our kids how to shoot. Doesn't hurt to start early! =) Shooter is gun shy so we couldn't take him along, but instead we got him out and played fetch later that day.
