Easter 2012

At Easter Matt and I traveled to Eastern, KS to visit my family. During our quick trip we dyed eggs, flew kites, blew bubbles and enjoyed time with family.

New Fence

 

 Matt tore out the remaining chain link fence along the alley and the north east corner of the yard during the month of March. He poured a cement form to put the metal posts in. Matt's cousin, Eric, welded the runners to the post. I painted all posts and runners black. Once dried, Matt and his dad, Todd, put each picket up one by one. We now have a completed enclosed fence.
Shooter shouldn't be running off anymore! =) 

As you can tell we still have plenty of work left to do in our yard. Before we put in the fence, Matt did some grading work with our skidsteer. Our yard now slopes away from the house.
